As a leader and successful businesswoman Lena Bjorna is a force to be reckoned with. The tiny Norwegian with the big heart has come a long way since her childhood days. Why Get a Mentor in Network Marketing?

Whether you're thinking about starting a home based business, or you're already underway, you should consider finding a mentor to help you maximize your chances for success. This is especially true if you want to succeed with network marketing.

A mentor can show you the ropes, can help you form good habits from the beginning, and can give you tips and tricks to make expanding your business quicker and easier. The problem is finding a mentor who will be willing to help you. But once you find that mentor, it's only a matter of time before your home business takes off.

Joining an Opportunity

If you do enough searching, you are bound to find a home based business opportunity that is looking for good recruits. This is your chance to become part of a business that is already off the ground. Usually, in the case of network marketing, the person who recruits you is your mentor. This person's job is to show you how the business works, and how to maximize your efforts.

You won't have to pay this person since they'll be making a commission off of you anyway. If you're a good talker, and you're really good with people, you should attend seminars and other network marketing events in the hopes that you'll meet a mentor to help you with your home business. Even if that mentor only offers a few pieces of advice, you'll be getting assistance that most people have to pay great money for.

Most of the mentors that you meet at seminars and events are more than willing to help a newbie just starting out. That's because they were once a newbie themselves, and also because many mentors believe in karma: what goes around comes around. The bottom line is that you can always benefit from a mentor when it comes to running a successful home based business.

Of course you can wing it on your own, and many women have made great money this way. However, why would you want to reinvent the wheel? Wouldn't you rather get the tips and tricks that will help you succeed straight from the mouth of someone who has already become successful doing what you're doing? Of course you would. All you have to do is find that mentor. Then, once you find the mentor, your home business is bound to take off because you'll have the support of someone who knows exactly what it takes to succeed. That's when you'll start making more money than you ever dreamed possible.

Network Marketing

Of course, if you want to make serious money, you'll take those two and combine them. This is network marketing, where you sell products and recruit people to sell products. Then, you make a commission off of everything your recruits sell, as well as whatever their recruits sell. It's a giant pyramid of funneled money, and it only requires you to find customers and recruit great associates.

Network marketing is extremely lucrative if you do it right, but it's not for the faint of heart. Luckily, there are network marketing 'businesses in a box' that can get you up and running from day one. No matter which business opportunity you choose, be it affiliate, internet or network marketing, you home based business will succeed as long as you tell yourself that you refuse to fail.

If you can sell products and recruit people, in the case of network marketing, or you can sell other people's products, in the case of affiliate marketing, and you refuse to accept defeat, you won't possibly fail. The women who fail at home based businesses are the ones who quit when they don't see immediate results, or they think that they're doing too much work for too little reward. Building any business is going to take time, and it's going to take a lot of work. But you can succeed at any home based business as long as you want it badly enough.

If you already have a home based business up and running, or you’re already involved with an opportunity and you want more training, there are ways you can go about that, too.
