Offer them plenty of incentive for joining. You might give them a free success report, or a tips and hints newsletter as your way of thanking them for joining. This way, you can let them know about your offer or your program each time you send out a new email. Instead of losing that person forever, you now have a way to help increase their awareness of what you're promoting. When their interest has increased enough to want more information, they will head right back to your website, via the handy link you emailed to the people on your mailing list.

This merely illustrates the fact that you can make contacts and expand your network in a number of ways. You just have to believe that you can make it and you will.
